Lyrics

Dear All,

Today as I drove home singing along to 'A-Punk' by Vampire Weekend on the radio I realised how absured my version of the lyrics must sound to anyone who would ever have the unfortunate experience of listening.

I honestly don't know what the real lyrics are, but this is what I sing.....

Joanna drove slowly into the city,
Dark as a river oh feel your snow
Spidering as I linger

Oh, oh ohhh

A thousand years in one piece of sandwich
You took it from me, really white hat,
Show no fish, she'd seen the thing
Then the young mans ring is go get a ring

Look outside the raincoats gone, say oh
Look outside the raincoats gone, say oh

Ey ey ey! Ey ey ey!

These eyes grow sabo and sick and tired, go
Down to the breadroom, hats on to Mexico
Kaal - e - tee di took all'sa monicas,

oh oh ohhh

I saw Joanna down in the sole fish,
She took an apartment in Washington heights
Having a ring lies here with me,
But the other halves at the bottom of the sea.

(Instrumental and chorus repeated.......)

I realise I could google the words but I think I would still revert back to these as they are ingrained into my head.

Whack it on in itunes or Spotify and tell me they don't sound right, because I think they do.

Many thanks

Goodbye.
